We are currently looking to expand our team with a IT Support Engineer with an entrepreneurial mindset and keen interest in joining a FinTech Start up.

What will you be doing?

  • Provide IT & Telecom support to all Zodia Markets end-users (software & hardware)
  • Respond to IT & Telecom incidents and requests including delivery of new products and services
  • Ensure all problems are resolved and update all tickets accordingly and in a timely fashion
  • Plan, implement, subsequently maintain efficient, cost effective, production systems (Infrastructure and Applications) and services to local businesses in line with the Technical & Cyber Security Standards for Zodia Markets
  • Assist in new implementations and upgrades to existing systems
  • Ensuring risk / compliance and security / build standards are followed
  • Provide risk controls and technical audit
  • Adherence to health and safety measures including tidying IT installations and cabling, etc

What are we hoping you will bring?

  • Demonstrable experience in a similar role, preferably at a fintech or financial firm
  • Strong knowledge of Software & Hardware configuration and troubleshooting (Laptops, Desktops, Printers, Scanners, Mobile Phones, etc)
  • Working experience with iOS & MacOS (MacOS certification preferred)
  • Ability to provide network support where required including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Data Switches, Routers and Firewalls, etc
  • Demonstrable skills in MS Office 365 including MS Admin Centre, Compliance, Security, Exchange, SharePoint, Teams, etc (O365 certification preferred)
  • Familiar with Azure Active Directory
  • Understanding of how MS SharePoint & OneDrive operate
  • MDM experience:
  • MS Intune (Intune certification preferred)
  • JAMF (JAMF certification preferred)
  • Knowledge of Okta & understanding of SAM & MFA
  • Familiar with Atlassian including Jira and Confluence

We are currently looking to expand our team in Ireland with a Head of Compliance and Risk with an entrepreneurial mindset and keen interest in joining a FinTech Start up.

Who are well looking for?

We are looking for a dynamic, entrepreneurial, and pragmatic person to be the Head of Compliance and Risk in Ireland covering EU clients.

As the designated Head of Compliance and Risk you will have responsibility for the regulatory compliance of Zodia Markets with all applicable requirements under Irish and European law. You will serve a lead role in a cross-functional team that ensures we remain at all times in good regulatory standing in Ireland & Europe.

The ideal candidate would have experience working in a fintech or exchange trading environment, with a deep understanding of requirements applicable to Zodia Markets’ activity under AML/CTF regulations relevant to crypto asset activities in Ireland & Europe.

You will be responsible for building and running the Virtual Asset Service Provider business across compliance, financial crime, and risk management for our entire European business. The holder of this role will be proposed to the CBI for approval as PCF 12, 52 & 14.

What will you be doing day-to-day

Compliance and Financial Crime

  • Act as a day-to-day contact for regulatory compliance matters for relevant Irish operations
  • Be responsible for the ongoing compliance of the firm with all applicable regulatory requirements
  • Be part of the Irish Executive Leadership to ensure operational compliance requirements across the region are implemented
  • Manage and operate the Compliance and Financial Crime framework, policies, processes and controls.
  • Build relationships with Zodia Markets Ireland’s key regulators.
  • Coordinate and drive the entity’s AML and CFT risk management, control and investigation processes.
  • Keep abreast of regulatory developments and advise management on their impact on the business.

Risk Management

  • Establish and maintain a proper risk culture in Zodia Markets Ireland.
  • Chair its Executive Risk Committee.
  • Implement (adapting as necessary) Zodia Markets Holdings’ risk policies and procedures in Zodia Markets Ireland.
  • Communicate risk issues and policies to regulators, shareholders and other stakeholders.

What we hope you will bring

Compliance experience

  • Considerable experience in a previous regulatory or compliance position at a fintech or financial firm, or regulatory institution
  • Eligibility to be accepted for PCF-12, 52 and 14 approvals under the CBI ‘Pre-Approved Controlled Functions’ regime
  • Familiar with anti-money laundering legislation, obligations and in particular 4th and 5th Anti-Money Laundering Directives, including how they relate or could relate to a VASP – particularly AMLD5 and Criminal Justice Act 2021.
  • Has a core grasp of the sales and transactional activities of the business, its operating model, and its key risks with emphasis on the role of a matched principal crypto-asset broker and exchange.
  • Understanding of the regulatory risks relevant and associated with the provision of the spot crypto product we currently offer.
  • Ability to engage with key regulators (EU / CBI) and government bodies.

Risk experience

  • Core knowledge in risk culture, risk identification, risk assessment, controls development, training, monitoring and reporting.

Crypto knowledge

We would like candidates to be able to express an interest in working in crypto and digital assets with some understanding of the technology although no prior work experience is required.

The icing on the cake would be

  • Advanced professional certifications such as “CAMS”, “CFE”
  • Demonstrable prior experience in relation to the regulation of crypto asset services in Ireland
  • Previously held relevant PCF roles
  • Financial Markets and Trading experience – including general understanding of conduct and market abuse
